Terms and Conditions for Using the PRAKSIS Electronic Regulations Database

  1. These terms and conditions govern the use of the PRAKSIS electronic database of regulations, judgments, and translations (hereinafter referred to as PRAKSIS).

  2. PRAKSIS is the property of ACT Consulting Services Company DOO Skopje (hereinafter referred to as ACT!).

  3. ACT! holds the copyright to PRAKSIS and its use for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Any unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution of the regulations and other data contained within PRAKSIS is considered a criminal offense and will be subject to prosecution.

  4. PRAKSIS is a comprehensive database of regulations that provides access to:

    • Expertly crafted law texts

    • The constitution, its amendments, and decisions from the constitutional court, as well as its by-laws;

    • Relevant court decisions pertaining to the law;

    • Regulations from the EU and other countries;

    • Relevant information related to specific laws (e.g. bankruptcy proceedings, commercial company forms, public procurement models, labor relations collective agreements, etc.);

    • Summaries of regulations that present basic information in a concise and easily understandable manner;

    • English translations of laws;

    • Refined texts of laws, the constitution, and amendments in Albanian.

  5. Key terms used in these terms and conditions, the registration form, and the subscription agreement confirmation:

    1. Subscriber - refers to the legal or natural person who enters into a subscription agreement with ACT! and is responsible for paying the subscription fee;

    2. User - refers to the person who has registered on PRAKSIS and is granted access through a username and password;

    3. Subscription Agreement Confirmation - a written document issued by ACT! that confirms the conclusion of a subscription agreement between the subscriber and ACT!;

    4. Regulations - refers to any document or information to which the PRAKSIS user has access;

    5. User Access - refers to the user's right to access PRAKSIS regulations;

    6. Subscription Agreement Duration - refers to the validity period of the user's access to PRAKSIS as determined in the subscription agreement;

    7. Administrator - refers to a person authorized by ACT! who manages user access;

    8. Access Point - refers to any location with internet connectivity from which the user can access PRAKSIS.

  6. Access to PRAKSIS is granted after completing the registration form, which requires the subscriber to provide information about themselves and the user/s.

  7. Upon receipt of the registration form, the administrator will issue a subscription agreement confirmation and an invoice, which will be sent to the subscriber's email address as provided in the registration form.

  8. The subscriber has the right to change users during the subscription agreement duration. A confirmation of the change of use will be issued for each change.

  9. ACT! is solely responsible for the operation of the server hosting PRAKSIS regulations.

  10. One user access cannot be used simultaneously from multiple access points.

  11. One-user access can only be used by the user specified in the registration form. The shared use of one user access by multiple individuals is prohibited.

  12. PRAKSIS allows for simple printing and copying of selected regulation text. The use of printed and copied text from PRAKSIS for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden.

  13. PRAKSIS enables easy search for the desired regulation (law, by-law, or relevant information).

  14. PRAKSIS offers advanced search capabilities through various parameters such as TAGs and categorizations defined by PRAKSIS to aid users in finding relevant information.

  15. The details of the subscription including the start and end dates, cost, payment method, and terms are clearly outlined in the signed subscription agreement.

  16. In the event that the subscriber fails to pay the cost within the specified timeframe indicated on the invoice, ACT! reserves the right to revoke access to the regulations database.

  17. The subscription agreement will be automatically renewed if the subscriber does not express objections within 8 days of receiving the confirmation of the renewal, which will be sent after the current subscription period has ended.

  18. To provide optimal support, users have access to a dedicated customer support telephone line and email address, through which all inquiries and issues regarding the use of PRAKSIS can be submitted.

  19. PRAKSIS retains the right to amend the general conditions of use for the regulations database.
